Burnt Perogies

I think every single musician has done something like this.

I was making myself a aprés-dinner dessert (I finally tried dessert perogies that are filled with strawberry filling), and to kill a couple of minutes I thought I would take a look at the first section of Clair de Lune by Debussy - as the perogies were in the frying pan.
Well the first page quickly turned to the second... then the third... and I was pretty happy with how quickly my hands have been adjusting to the song so far...
And then I smelled it.
That strong, completely burnt, smell.
I stopped playing and went to the kitchen to find my perogies black on the outside.

Oops.

I always lose track of time when I am practicing!!
What I love the most is when I have learned enough so that the melody is actually recognizable. I have a VERY long way to go... but I am enjoying the process. Even when I ruin dessert.
I love #MyMusicalLife

**Update**
Don't worry, I made more and squeezed out the filling from the burnt ones. I put them with cinnamon, brown sugar, and nutella.
