Home Concert Fundraiser

I have been contemplating the planning of my next live streaming at-home concert.
I have been wanting to run one of these as a fundraiser for a long time, and I think the next one is the one I want to try.

It won't be for at least a few months - wedding planning is my focus at the moment. It will either occur near Christmastime (Nov or Dec) - only if I have recuperated well enough - OR in the beginning of 2019.

We will figure out the logistics of the fundraiser itself at a later date. I am unsure of whether to use a simple E-Transfer or to use a standard Go Fund Me page or some other format that I am currently unaware of. The proceeds will be split between at least one charity and myself. Again, the percentages will be decided on later. Everything will be very clear for this event. I will explain exact percentages, I will show the receipt of donations made, and I will be clear about which charity or charities is/are being fundraised for.

Plus, because of how the live streaming works, people can continuously make donations if the video is posted. I will have to go over what kind of details and schedule I will do for this, but my base idea is to make a donation at the end of the day of the actual event, then a month later (if more donations are generated), and then depending on the activity, every 6 or 12 months subsequently.
If it were to gain a significant amount of views and donations after that initial month, I may change the charities that will benefit. That way, if people continue to donate, more than one charity will benefit. It will be spread out.

This is, of course, mostly theory at this point. What I DO know is that I will be doing another live streaming show and that it will be a fundraiser with proceeds split between myself and at least one charity.

The logistics will be sorted out within the next few months.
The bottom line is that it will all be very clear and I will be held accountable to present receipts of amounts donated.
We will figure out exactly how.

I am SO excited that I will finally be able to host my very own fundraiser from the comfort of my own home, singing to raise money, and without risking my own very fragile health to do so.

If there is a specific charity that YOU would like me to consider for this event, please comment and let me know why this charity is so important to you and why it is worthy of receiving funds.

I will update you as this event is being planned.
