I have FINALLY finished taking notes on my recording software - so I am *hoping* to experiment with the program over the next few weeks. This weekend will be set aside for music if we cannot plant our garden.
I also have a new video up on Youtube:
"If I Go, I'm Goin'" by Gregory Alan Isakov
I don't remember when I was exposed to this song. It was likely on some dramatic tv show or movie, and the song helped bring out intense emotion. That is always what I gravitate towards: music that makes me feel something.
This song definitely achieves that, and I hope that I can convey that emotion clearly in my music.
Along with that, I have also been looking up some old favourite tunes, especially those I used to hear in music boxes: Für Elise, Love Story, The Entertainer. I am looking forward to re-learning these instrumental tunes.
I love My Musical Life.
