I Am Finally Digital!!!

Well it has taken a LONG time, but I am finally digital
My current repertoire (save for a few hymns and instrumentals) are all typed up, formatted, and even on one of my devices.

It may not sound like much, but it is an entire process.
1. Type up the lyrics
2. Type out the chords
3. Format the lyrics and chords in a way I can best read them and place the chords over the words where the chord changes
4. Run through the song to catch glaring mistakes
5. Save, print, transfer to Dropbox
6. Take screenshots of each file to save on tablet (makes it easier to scroll and zoom)
7. Tag and rename each file for proper organization and easy search capabilities
8. Practice each song - fix mistakes. (If there are mistakes then I have to fix it on the cpu, then save again, print again, place it in dropbox again, screenshot again, and rename & tag again).

After doing this for over 300 songs, it took a long time. I have currently only practiced songs from A-K, which took me a combined four hours to go through. L-Z is next.

In this whole digital move, I have also moved onto Twitch. Although I have been doing livestreams for a few years now, mostly due to my health, I recently joined this online streaming platform to add a little pizzazz. This platform allows more interaction and some really neat features that make it an interactive experience for both the performer and the viewer. One of those elements is a complete song list where people can make requests in the live chat room.
I am hoping stream from Twitch regularly. I just need to get the sound figured out a bit better, but I DID do a livestream yesterday for an hour. It went well overall, but the sound is still a touch too quiet. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve - we'll get there!

Above all, I love My Musical Life!
