It's called Cinderella, and you can watch it here.
This past year has been quite difficult with a lot of struggles, and by the time December hits, many people always feel this wave of Depression that hits at the same time as all of the holiday festivities. It can be a real tough time for most families, so I hope that this song resonates with some people.
Here are the lyrics:
Cinderella
Some people say that Depression
Is a hole that you just can't climb out of
Your feet feel like cinderblocks
Watching the world pass on by
High above you
Something that nobody tells you
Is you don't always tumble on down
Sometimes those cinderblocks
Look like the comfiest slippers
To crawl into
You know it takes twice as long
Twice as much effort
To climb your way out
But you can't help but want it
Want to let yourself slide on down
Just let go
Everything around you is telling you to just hang on, baby
But your mind isn't in it, your heart is about to give in
Those cinderblock-slippers look so damn inviting right now
That hole doesn't look like Depression
Those cinderblocks don't look that heavy
The bell-jar it is isn't clear from the edge where I stand
God, I just want a break
I know it takes twice as long
Twice as much effort
To climb my way out
But I can't help but want it
Wanna put on these slippers
And watch the world go by
For a minute, just a minute
