Things have been *sort of* quiet lately musically.
I have a few projects here and there that I have started, but with the wedding NEXT WEEK, my focus is very much on the wedding (where it should be).
I am looking forward to learning new tunes, auditioning to provide background vocals for a local artist, tackling a LIST of requests, and putting a TON of focus on artistry in general. Over the next year my focus is going to be on music, writing, some crafting (crazy, I know), and trying to get more involved with photo shoots again.
Even with all of this amazing wedding stuff taking up the vast majority of our time these days, we still make time for relaxation, and I still make time for practicing. Today I got quite a bit of practicing in, and I am hoping to begin memorizing this next piece:
Prelude in E Minor by Chopin.
It was iconic in the movie The Notebook, which is pretty much a favourite of everyone I know, and just has this melancholic longing feel to it that I love.

I love My Musical Life!
