November Music

I am SO excited to be singing for a friend's wedding reception this coming weekend.
I will be providing live music during their slideshow and I am thrilled.
The song they chose is perfect (and will be uploaded to my youtube channel the last Friday of this month). It has become one of my favourite songs to just sing at home as well, which means it will turn into a performance favourite.
I will most likely include this song into my live streaming home concert in December - don't forget!

Other than practicing a bit of piano every day, I have not done anything huge in regards to music lately. Just plugging away, learning new music and new skills on the piano. I *might* be doing a bit of recording at the end of the month (fingers crossed), and then of course the live streaming concert in December.
A quick reminder that the concert is a fundraiser, so if you feel inclined to make a donation, please make sure you check out this blog page and look for the button to make a purchase. Payments can be through Paypal or Credit card. After the concert I will tally up the funds raised and make a straight donation to Crohn's Colitis Canada and Crisis Services Canada. (These chosen charities will vary each year for this annual home concert fundraiser).

The concert is free. There is no cost to watch it online. I will play/sing for about 2 hours, and you can watch from any device on several social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube. The fundraiser is just an added bonus and no one is forced to donate in order to enjoy the music - which will be family-friendly and will have Christmas music mixed in.

Oh and did I mention that I will be singing again in 2019 for the Crohn's Colitis Canada Fun Money Casino Night (that is a mouthful!) ??
I love love love this event and cannot wait to be a part of it again.

I may not be doing anything showstopping with my music, but it is a big part of everyday life, and with my health concerns, that is more than I could have asked for.
